CAD & Graphics

Card or paper packages are planned as flat plans or nets that can be folded and locked or glued into shape. Nets are drawn out to an accurate size on a vector drawing package like 2d design. The net can then be plotted out as a plain net or can have add graphics/text added to complete.

Vector drawings and DTP can be used in the production of a graphic outcome. Desktop publishing and bitmap editing can be used to create graphics for a packaging by combining text, colour and images on a net. The finished work can then be printed out.
