AIMS OF WEBSITE This will hopefully become the central teaching & learning resource for both students and staff. Until recently our teaching materials have been stored on the shared documents area of the school network. This has two main drawbacks :

1)It is not accessible outside the school intranet.

2) Being difficult for students to find relevant learning resources.

This site is designed to overcome these problems. Any feedback from students, parents or other staff would be appreciated.

• Solidworks Free student license.(Download solidworks 3D CAD software. Request the school SDK ID and serial number, required for licensing by email .)
• Autodesk. Free one year license to products including Inventor (3D MCAD & FEA), Maya (3D Animation), revit architecture (3d Architectural CAD ) and many more. Most of this software cost thousands of pounds for a commercial license. You must enter the school email when you sign up. We have student licence's for much of the software used in D&T including 2D design,& Solidworks. This allows students to install software at home free of charge. In some case the software is limited in terms of printing/features/file types, but is otherwise fully functional. Contact a member of staff about acquiring this software.
